Goold Health Systems Upholds Its Commitment to Building High Performing Health Care Solutions: Promotes Engineer with Proven Talent
Augusta, Maine — Goold Health Systems, a health care management company focusing on Medicaid services, recently promoted software engineer Miklos Van Halen to Manager of Product Development.
In his new role, Van Halen will oversee all software and product development, as well as support GHS’s commitment to providing turnkey and custom solutions to their clients across the country. With 12 years experience, which includes consulting for companies such as IBM Global Services and Visa, Van Halen has the skill and knowledge to drive success.
He will be driving a team approach to product development. “One of our core strengths is our team work,” said Van Halen. “Our IT department works closely with our business divisions and clients, including pharmacists, doctors, and other professionals to ensure we provide high performing, soup to nuts healthcare solutions for our clients.”
Focused on Medicaid in general and Pharmacy Benefit Services Administration (PBSA) in particular, GHS has relied on its team approach and experts such as Van Halen to create a full suite of products.

Van Halen started with GHS as a consultant, and then joined full-time two years ago. He is a member of TechMaine and earned his computer engineering degree from Auburn University in Alabama.
